How Her Mindful Gold Started (And How I Became an Entrepreneur)
“Entrepreneur” sounds polished, put together, and intentional, right?
But my journey is nothing of the sort.
It began with panic, uncertainty, and zero backup plan.
I spent more than a decade as a risk analyst in a stable corporate job. The benefits were good and the path was predictable. From the outside, it looked like the smart choice. But on the inside, I knew I did not want that life forever. I never felt excited about climbing the ladder and the idea of repeating the same routine for years made me restless.
So one day, I quit.
No savings goal.
No income.
No real direction.
Just a decision I knew I had to make.
We had a two-week family trip already planned. While everyone was relaxing, I was glued to job portals trying to figure out how to rebuild my life before the panic took over. Nothing clicked. I felt lost, tired, and unsure of what came next.
Then I came across something familiar.
An online business opportunity I had scrolled past countless times.
Digital marketing.
The kind that promised freedom, flexible hours, and the chance to work from anywhere.
This time, I paid attention.
I was skeptical at first, but I also knew I had nothing to lose. If one sale could cover my investment for the course, it felt worth trying. That small moment of curiosity was enough to get me started.
Starting from zero is humbling in a way you do not expect.
No audience.
No content skills.
No clear roadmap.
I was not a content creator.
I did not know how to make videos.
I was not confident on camera.
I was not the typical entrepreneur type.
I was just a working mom who needed a way forward and was willing to learn.
And learn I did. Through trial, error, frustration, and many late-night searches.
Every small win kept me going. Every setback taught me something important.
What I wish I knew earlier
- You do not need to go all in at once.
Start with what you can manage. Small steps build real momentum. - Learn before you invest heavily.
FOMO is pricey. Clarity is free. - Success has no fixed timeline.
Some grow fast. Some grow slow. Both are valid.
The truth is simple.
You are not failing because things move slowly.
You only fail if you stop.
If you ever feel stuck or unsure of your next step, I understand. I have lived it.
And if you are a working mom trying to hold a business together in the margins of your day, I see you even more. Momentum feels different when you are building with a mother’s load.
That is why I created Her Mindful Gold.
A space that empowers busy working moms to build an online business with digital products and simple strategy. A space that helps you create income that supports your mom life so you can be more present for your kids without sacrificing your ambition.
Not hustle. Not noise.
Just a path that fits your season of life.
If you found this blog through Pinterest, a saved post, or a late-night search, welcome.
You are in the right place.
And you are not building alone.
